Launched in 2021, the Franciacorta Animante XIII Tiratura reinterprets the history of its appellation by combining the classic Chardonnay and Pinots (black & white) with Erbamat, an ancient local variety from Brescia. Brought back from obscurity by Barone Pizzini, this indigenous grape variety evokes a Franciacorta deeply rooted in its terroir, influenced by the small-plot vineyards with mineral-rich soils around Lake Iseo and by the Mediterranean microclimate of the hills of central Lombardy. As the first Franciacorta producer to embrace organic farming, this pioneering estate produces great sparkling wines, respecting the vines, the people and nature. Lively, refreshing, crisp and invigorating, the Animante Zéro Dosage embodies this contemporary sensibility through its delicious aromas of yellow apple, ripe lemon, acacia honey, apricot and dried fruit, its herbaceous and spicy notes, and its mineral backbone. Juicy and well-structured, the palate harmoniously blends a basket of tangy fruits, fine, silky bubbles and a long, briny finish.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
