Fantastic value from the renowned producer Catuxa . Geno is a new brand unique to the UK market. ‘Geno’ means a young farmer; the artist Antonio Palolo was involved in the creation of the unique and vibrant label. Geno Tinto is produced from Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah grapes and rich granitic soil. The trincadeira grape does well in hot climates adding vibrant raspberry fruit and a herby, peppery note to blends. The red-fleshed grape Alicante Bouschet gives an inky, treacle backbone to the blend and the Syrah adds a touch of peppery spice.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
