The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

Sweet dark cherries and fresh garden mint intertwine with cinnamon sticks and star anise, while threads of tar and earth provide the deep bass notes that make Serralunga famous. The palate reveals why this village earned its powerhouse reputation: waves of pure fruit roll across crushed chalk minerality, building to a finale of spent tea leaves and bitter chocolate. A wine that flexes its muscles while wearing its finest silk suit, showing why Serralunga remains Barolo's center of gravitational force. Drink Now - 2045. A solid red, with density to its texture, offering flavors that evoke cherry, currant, rose hip and almond. Flashes of eucalyptus, iron and tobacco peek through as this winds down on the long, vibrant aftertaste. Best from 2029 through 2048. Subtle on the nose, with stones, cherries, minerals, licorice and sweet violets. Medium- to full-bodied, it shows firm tannins and refreshing acidity. Not as long as expected. Drink or hold.
