This Tuscante red vintage is showing us the results of a rather original winemaking approach. It has been inspired by Veneto methods where there are two types of harvest - one at full ripeness and the other after being dried on the plant, or as in the Veneto they dry on racks in the cellar. In the glass, we find a concentrated juice but not too much, good notes of black cherry jam, hint of smoke around the edges and the finish is delicious, fruity and full with good yet fine tannins. A great example of an Italian wine with great provenance. It's very Mediterranean, fresh and perfect to savour with many dishes. A very reasonable price for a wine to be tried without delay!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
