The Graham family established their Port house in the Douro Valley in 1820, and over two centuries have built a legacy as one of the most respected names in fortified wine. Today, Graham’s sources fruit from five prestigious quintas, including the privately owned Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas. These estates benefit from the Douro’s hot, dry microclimate and distinctive schist soils, producing grapes of exceptional ripeness and character. Viticulture The quintas are located in the heart of the upper Douro Valley, where steep slopes and mineral-rich soils create ideal conditions for growing premium Port varieties. Graham’s also works closely with selected growers in the finest districts, ensuring consistent quality across vintages.
Winemaking
Graham’s The Tawny is a signature blend matured for 7 to 9 years in seasoned oak casks. Crafted by the Master Blender, it reflects the house’s time-honoured expertise in blending, cooperage, and ageing. The result is a refined, wood-matured Tawny Port offering depth, complexity, and balance. Tasting Note Deep golden-amber in colour. Aromas of orange peel, cinnamon, prune, raisin, and fig. The palate is full and generous, with a long, clean finish. Food Matching Perfect with almond tart, crème brûlée, or served as an aperitif. Best enjoyed slightly chilled.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
