Marchesi Antinori's Guado al Tasso 2022 is a leading example of the Bolgheri Superiore appellation, embodying all the richness of the great wines of the Tuscan coast. Made from a Bordeaux-style blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and occasionally a touch of Petit Verdot, it perfectly reflects the complexity of the Bolgheri terroir, nestled between the sea and the hills. This powerful red, luxuriously vinified and aged in Bordeaux barrels and wooden vats, asserts its athletic style. Ripe, sophisticated and complex, it develops aromas of black fruits, redcurrant, raspberry and spices, as well as smoky and toasty notes that will blend together over time. Supported by supple tannins, it offers a smooth, full-bodied structure, enhanced by notes of blackcurrant, black olives and liquorice. Extremely persistent, this wine of great depth displays its unique style. It can be cellared for ten years, or even longer.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
