Official geographic-register context
What the official register confirms about Ribera del Duero
BottlePicker found an exact region-name match in an official wine or spirits register. This establishes useful regional context; it does not by itself prove that this particular bottle is entitled to the designation. Check the producer label and specification for that claim.

Cellar for up to 15 years. Decant for up to an hour before serving. Crafted from 100% Tempranillo, Finca Peña Lobera exhibits a generous nose of ripe black fruits and aromatic spice. The fruits were sourced from the Burgos region in Northern Spain. This wine is an excellent introduction to the wines of Hacienda Solano, and the famous red wines of Ribera del Duero. Hacienda Solano was founded by the Cubillo family, and three Cubillo siblings, Estrella, Nuria and Agustín, still run day-to-day operations. The family began as growers, providing top-quality grapes from prime Ribera del Duero plots to wineries around Northern Spain. In 2001, they created their first-ever wine, with the help of renowned enologist Sophie Khün. Finca Peña Lobera is a bright ruby red in the glass. It can be enjoyed immediately, or cellared for up to 10 years. The palate reveals a ripe, round texture, with velvety tannins and intense acidity. It’s a luscious, easy-drinking wine. There are flavours of blackberry jam, black cherry, chocolate and leather to be discovered, with subtle hints of spice and dry underbrush. You can enjoy this Ribera del Duero wine alone or paired with a spicy sausage, Manchego cheese, or a wide variety of tapas.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
