Source-supplied bottle description

The Chevalières vineyard occupies a very distinctive position within Meursault, on the upper part of the hillside, towards Puligny-Montrachet. Facing due east, and slightly cooler and more airy than the lower slopes, it produces wines that stand out for their natural integrity and energy rather than merely their fullness. In this half-bottle of Louis Jadot's Meursault 1er Cru Les Chevalières 2024, this identity comes across with great clarity. On the palate, it opens with a sensation of crisp white fruit, quickly underpinned by a very precise lemony tang. The body then unfolds with a finely chalky, almost tactile texture, which gives the wine structure without excessive richness. The finish lingers at length with a fresh, briny sensation the hallmark of Meursault's highest-altitude terroirs leaving an impression of purity, movement and great precision.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
