Source-supplied bottle description
Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.
Made from vines around forty years old, rooted in the contrasting terroirs of Rotenberg and Rodern, this 2020 Pinot Noir elegantly expresses the richness of its origins. Its meticulous vinification, combining controlled maceration with ageing in large oak casks, lends it both fullness and precision. The bouquet reveals ripe black fruits and vibrant cherries, enhanced by toasty, briny notes and delicate spices. On the palate, it is generous and silky, underpinned by an elegant structure and subtly peppery tannins, with a lingering finish marked by a hint of liquorice. The wine is now beginning to open up whilst retaining excellent ageing potential, promising even greater complexity and refinement with time.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
