Source-supplied bottle description

Aroma: lifted red and blue berries, some damask plum, and hints of cassis. This is all intermingled with subtle cedary notes from the oak, and a luscious chocolaty overlay. The nose is rich and complex with a fresh fruit impact. Palate: - A rich, lush wine of amazing generosity, yet retaining a sense of elegance. Mulberries, plums, blackberries, all wrapped in a soft, yet structural case of soft tannins.. The generosity of the Merlot fruit makes it a wonderful drink now, but the underlying backbone of tannins from the Cabernet sauvignon will suit it to many rich dishes, and give numerous years of age-worthiness.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
