The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

On the rich terroirs of Valais, this Savagnin Blanc, known locally as "Heida", grows on one of the most favourable soils, composed of slate. Here, juices full of freshness are produced, with acidity enhanced by ageing on lees in vats. On the nose, the yellow fruits are slightly roasted, giving a delicious and grandiose fullness that invites tasting. This generosity is found right from the attack on the palate, caressing it with a finely smoky brioche charm. Intense, with a tense and persistent finish. A Swiss masterpiece!
