Source-supplied bottle description

Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.

Hailing from the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge region, this Pinot Noir draws its identity from a strong maritime influence. The cool ocean breezes, combined with the vineyard's altitude, encourage slow and steady ripening, allowing the grapes to develop precise aromas whilst retaining a lovely natural tension. Hand-harvested, the grapes are vinified with care: maceration for around two weeks, gentle pressing, followed by ageing in French oak barrels, imparting structure and harmony without masking the fruit. On the nose, the wine is elegant, with notes of cherry and raspberry, enhanced by floral notes of violet and rose, as well as subtle hints of undergrowth. On the palate, the balance is precise: fine tannins, a silky texture and dynamic freshness support vibrant fruit, prolonged by a long finish with spicy and herbaceous notes.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
