“Tündérmese” means fairy tale, but this wine is far from Grimm – a beautifully textured, luscious late harvest blend with vibrant acidity that keeps the sweetness perfectly balanced.
Meet the Producer
A tiny, family-owned estate in Tokaj, steeped in history, producing wines that reflect the unique volcanic soils and centuries-old traditions of the region.
Production
Grapes are sourced from the Betsek, Szilvás, and Danczka vineyards (average vine age 35 years). Hand-harvested from the second week of November into small containers. After a day of skin maceration, the grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, followed by three months’ aging in tank. Fining with bentonite is applied prior to bottling.
Tasting Notes
Rich, intense mandarin and honeyed notes suggest botrytis influence. The palate is textured, with lively acidity preventing the sweetness from becoming cloying. Very drinkable, with a long, persistent finish. Food Match: Delicious on its own, or paired with tropical fruit desserts or fruity Middle Eastern savoury dishes. Region/Country: Tokaj, Hungary Grape: Furmint 50%, Hárslevelü 30%, Muscat Blanc 20%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
