Source-supplied bottle description

La Gloire de mon Père embodies a deep attachment to the Périgord terroir. A tribute to the dry, sun-exposed clay-limestone soils of Castillon, where each grape variety finds its rightful place. This powerful red reveals a deep colour with violet hues, a sign of perfect ripeness. On the nose, it reveals an intense bouquet of black fruits, chocolate, liquorice and violet, enhanced by delicate toasted notes. On the palate, it is beautifully generous, with firm tannins and a dense structure, softened by a gentle sweetness and surprising freshness. A rare balance that makes this wine an ideal companion for the rich dishes of the Périgord: duck confit, wood-fired grilled duck breast, chanterelle and porcini mushrooms picked in our oak forests.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
