With La Reynarde 2022, E. Guigal unveils an exceptional single-vineyard Côte-Rôtie, made exclusively from Syrah and destined to join the House’s most prestigious vintages. The plot occupies a unique position, where the Reynard stream marks the boundary between the famous Côte Blonde and Côte Brune, two iconic sectors of the appellation. This distinctive location gives rise to a wine that combines depth, structure and elegance with great precision. The bouquet gradually unfolds notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, liquorice and black pepper, complemented by smoky and roasted nuances. Its particularly long ageing period of 40 months in new oak barrels complements the power of the Syrah and enriches its complexity. Dense and structured in its youth, this Côte-Rôtie is, above all, designed to age for a long time in the cellar. A new prestige release from Guigal, intended for connoisseurs and collectors of the great Syrahs of the northern Rhône.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
