Source-supplied bottle description

Raul Perez is one of the country's greatest winemakers, and this is one of the estate's emblematic cuvées. Vitoriana comes from sandy soils and vines with a predominantly northerly exposure, producing elegant, floral wines. It was fermented in wooden vats and then aged in casks, but there is no trace of oak. This is the most aromatic and impressive wine in the La Vizcaina range. It has a depth and expressiveness that make it wild yet refined, explosive and more Burgundian than any of the Vizcaína wines. It has character and attitude, light, power, energy, freshness and symmetry. Its fine tannins are particularly appreciated, as is its great depth on the palate and lingering finish.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
