Read the retailer’s description
The description below is the retailer’s own wording.
La Xara is a red Grenache from the Gastón plot, a vineyard planted on clay-limestone and granite soil. It is the estate’s latest Garnacha plot to be bottled, designed to offer greater typicity whilst retaining maximum freshness and fluidity. Aged for seven months in French oak barrels and without any filtering or clarification, the wine is subtle and fragrant on the nose, with floral notes and intense red fruit. On the palate, it is a flavourful, fresh and intense wine with a wide variety of nuances. It is austere and serious, with a reserved nose, restrained ripeness and a lively, mineral palate.
