At the foot of the legendary Hermitage hill, the "Les Greffieux" plot produces an Hermitage signed by M. Chapoutier, vinified according to biodynamic principles. This exceptional cuvée, a tribute to the first owner of the estate, flourishes on terraces of glacial alluvium, with deep clay soils and rounded pebbles, bringing freshness, richness and concentration in turn. The 2022 vintage delivers a wine with an intense nose, blending blackcurrant, ripe red fruits and mocha, and a silky, floral palate marked by kirsch aromas, sweet spices and a delicate touch of rose. Both elegant and expressive, this is an Ermitage with irresistible charm, made for ageing but already captivating.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
