The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

Maison Jaboulet offers us a Crozes-Hermitage full of character, which, vintage after vintage, has become a firm favourite with Vinatis customers! ‘Les Jalets’ – or ‘Les Galets’ in Old French – refers to the terroir where these vines, which are at least 25 years old, are planted... On the palate, there are notes of red and black fruits, as well as spicy aromas on the finish… Do let it breathe for one to two hours beforehand so that it can fully release its aromas!
