A cooperative founded in 1960, the Saint-Désirat winery alone represents around 35 % of production in Saint-Joseph. An important player in the appellation which for years now has made quantity and quality go hand in hand. This Les Mariniers du Fleuve comes from vines that grow on the steep slops of Ardèche, arranged in terraces supported by stone walls, known as chalets. This 2021 wine offers a good structure with a palate of red fruits and spices (white pepper). Perfect for pairing with red meat, lamb and ideal for drinking over the next 5 years.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
