Source-supplied bottle description

Château Laroque covers 61 hectares at the summit of one of Saint-Émilion’s highest points, on a terroir of asterias-rich limestone and bluish clay that gives the estate’s wines their characteristic mineral freshness. Les Tours de Laroque, the estate’s second wine, is produced from a rigorous selection of younger vines (aged 30 years or less), cultivated using mass selection of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, vinified by gravity in small vats and then aged for 14 to 16 months in barrels and casks. The 2020 vintage is distinguished by a lovely natural concentration and a harmonious balance between fruit and freshness; the wine gains a silky texture and remarkable depth, whilst retaining the elegance and energy characteristic of the estate’s style. An accessible and refined expression of the Laroque terroir, to be enjoyed now and in the years to come.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
