' The family property was taken over in 1978 by Louis Chèze. The Domaine Louis Chèze is located on the top of the hillside of the commune of Limony, on the right bank of the Rhône, 60 Kms south of Lyon, in the heart of the northern Côtes du Rhône vineyard area. Monsieur Chèze started the adventure with 1 Ha in Saint-Joseph and a few vines he rented. Today, the estate represents 45 Ha in the prestigious appellations such as Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie as well as well-situated vineyards in Vins de Pays districts. Since the year 2000, he is one of the forerunners with two winegrower friends reviving the fabulous Roman terroir of Seyssuel. Louis' determination, curiosity and rigour are of the utmost importance when it comes to monitoring the vineyard and making the wines. Each vintage is an in-depth search to capture the quintessence of the terroirs. Numerous vintages, each with their own differences will delight the wine and food lover in you. '
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
