Champagne Louis Roederer, founded in 1776 and now led by Frédéric Rouzaud, represents over two centuries of meticulous winemaking. The house owns 250 hectares of vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs, with 90% classified as Grand Cru or Premier Cru. Louis Roederer is a pioneer in sustainable viticulture, employing organic and regenerative practices across its estate. Collection 246 MV showcases the house’s commitment to excellence and innovation, blending multiple vintages to achieve harmony, complexity, and balance. The Collection numbering system allows enthusiasts to select champagne according to its degree of maturity.
Vineyards
Collection 246 draws grapes from three key estate sites—La Rivière, La Montagne, and La Côte—supplemented with select plots from partner growers in the heart of the terroir. The terroirs provide a combination of freshness, minerality, and aromatic intensity, forming the foundation of this multi-vintage blend.

Collection 246 MV is composed of 35% Perpetual Reserve (vintages 2012–2020), 10% reserve wines aged in oak (2012–2017), 24% young wines aged in oak, and 55% from the 2021 harvest. Approximately 30% of the blend undergoes malolactic fermentation, balancing richness and structure. Tasting Note The wine exhibits a luminous golden hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose reveals a layered bouquet of white flowers, citrus zest, orchard fruit, and subtle toasty notes. On the palate, the champagne is fresh yet structured, combining vibrant acidity with a rounded texture, deli
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
