Lunetta Prosecco Spumante Brut is a delicate and vibrant sparkling wine from Cavit, a leading co-operative in the mountainous Trentino region of northeast Italy. Crafted from hand-harvested Glera grapes grown in the hills above Treviso, this Prosecco delivers light, fresh, and softly sparkling character that's perfect for celebrations, picnics, or as a crisp aperitif. Please note: This is a 20cl single-serve bottle, ideal for individual enjoyment or gifting. For the full-sized 75cl bottle, please see our separate listing.
Why You'll Love It
This is Prosecco in the perfect pocket-sized format. The 20cl bottle is ideal for picnics, outdoor events, gifts, or simply enjoying a glass without opening a full bottle. Cavit's expertise in sparkling wine production ensures exceptional quality even in this smaller format, delivering crisp apple and pear flavours with a creamy mousse in every sip.
Vineyard & Production
The Glera grape variety pre-dates Roman times. Grapes are sourced from the hills above Treviso, a traditional growing area for Prosecco, where hillsides with cool, loose soils are favourable. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. The must from the first soft pressing is used, left for 10–12 hours for any sediment to settle, then fermented in stainless steel for around 10 days. The second fermentation takes place using the Charmat method.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw with a fine, persistent mousse. Aromas of stone fruits, particularly peach, with hints of apple. The palate is crisp, light, and well-balanced with creamy mousse and delicate apple and pear characters, finishing fresh and clean.
Food Pairing
The perfect aperitif or picnic wine. Serve well chilled at celebrations, garden parties, or outdoor events. Pairs beautifully with light canapés, seafood antipasti, fresh fruit, and Italian panettone. Also makes a thoughtful gift or party favour.
Grape Variety
100% Glera from the Treviso hills, Veneto
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
