Source-supplied bottle description

Produced from the finest clay-limestone terroirs of the Mâcon-Villages appellation, this Chardonnay vinified by Louis Latour perfectly embodies the identity of the Mâconnais: a dry, straightforward and accessible white wine, full of finesse. The vines, averaging 30 years of age, yield grapes selected with the utmost care, enabling the production of a wine of fine quality, consistent vintage after vintage. This 2025 vintage boasts a brilliant pale yellow colour. On the nose, aromas of fresh citrus and a hint of chlorophyll herald a lovely liveliness. On the palate, the attack is round and rich, revealing notes of fresh almond and a hint of muscat, balanced by a crisp and refreshing finish. Vinified and aged exclusively in stainless steel vats for 8 to 10 months, it retains all the purity and freshness of its fruit. It pairs perfectly with shellfish, fish, fine charcuterie or cheeses such as Comté.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
