Source-supplied bottle description
Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.
Drevon is a model Syrah / Shiraz - rich and luscious. Around a precise aromatic framework of black fruits and spices, this wine displays the best of this grape variety with its silky tannins and plentiful gourmet flavours. A perfect expression of this prized terroir - (re)discover it as soon as possible! The nose is complex and elegant with red and black fruits, spices and oak notes. The vintage is made from a blend of different parcels from the estate that have been vinified separately. A quarter of the wine is aged in oak barrels then blended to achieve the right balance. Its melting tannins mean it can be enjoyed now or even in 4 or even 15 years' time. A masterful result made by Maxime Gourdain.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
