Source-supplied bottle description

Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.

Macán 2021 comes from a year that saw above-average rainfall and a few hailstorms in June, which reduced yields, but the weather was favourable during the harvest. It contains 1% Graciano. This year, the estate decided to use 100% indigenous yeasts, and the wine was aged in new barrels (50%) and 4,000-litre oak casks for 12 months, followed by a further six months in 20,000-litre oak vats. All these decisions have given this wine seriousness and grandeur. The nose is complex with creamy spices, cedar, fresh blackberries, red plums, truffles and notes of walnuts and mocha. The smoky tannins are concealed in notes of tobacco and cherry leaves. The magnum format ensures ultimate preservation, allowing it to be stored for many years in cellars for the most patient.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
