' Michel Magnien represents the fourth generation of wine growers of the Magnien family. From a very young age, he worked on the vineyard of his father, Bernard Magnien (third generation) owner of 4 hectares of vines. The Domaine is an 18-hectare vine Estate located on the Côte de Nuits and spilt into 23 appellations of Grands Crus, Premiers Crus, Villages and AOC Régionales. After years of application, Domaine Michel Magnien was certified as biodynamic by Demeter in 2015. At each stage, the work follows the rhythm of the synodic cycle of the moon. They are fully committed to organic agricultural principles in their management of vines and wines. Thanks to Michel Magnien's special care for his vines over the years, the wines are unique and faithful to the best terroirs in Burgundy. The Estate is now managed by Frédéric, the fifth generation, who strives to raise our wines at the highest level of quality. Chambolle takes its name from the bubbling appearance of the Grône stream. In 1878 the name of its best cru Musigny, was appended to the village name. This A.O.C. is for red wine only and covers a total area of 182 hectares. '

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
