What the official register confirms about Primorska
BottlePicker found an exact region-name match in an official wine or spirits register. This establishes useful regional context; it does not by itself prove that this particular bottle is entitled to the designation. Check the producer label and specification for that claim.

Cellar for up to 7 years. Serve chilled. Widely considered one of Slovenia’s top artisanal wineries, the Movia estate actually dates back to 1700 and has been in the hands of the Kristančič family since 1820. Today the family specialises in biodynamic winemaking using traditional methods and a combination of both local and international varieties to produce some very special wines. In total the family has 18 hectares of vines located in the Goriška Brda region with approximately half of their holdings lying on the other side of the border in Italy. This elegant Pinot Grigio is made in a classic Movia style from older vines which are harvested as late as possible. The vines have an average age of 35 years and tend to produce smaller quantities of intense and concentrated fruit. Fermentation takes place in large tanks using wild yeasts and the wine is then aged in barrels on the lees for 18 months. The result is a very unique style of Pinot Grigio that is dripping in rich honey flavours and hints of green walnuts and bitter almonds. On the palate there is a creamy texture, full body, and gentle tannins which give structure and longevity to the wine. A truly excellent example of an artisanal orange wine made from the classic Pinot Grigio grape.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
