Source-supplied bottle description

This cuvée breaks the mould of classic reds to offer an utterly unpretentious wine. Inspired by the Beaujolais Nouveau style, it plays to the strengths of juicy, fresh fruit! A blend of Pinot Noir complemented by other grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Dornfelder, this wine is vinified using carbonic or semi-carbonic maceration, often with whole bunches. This method results in a highly aromatic profile, driven by fruit and a light texture. Ageing in used barrels, without fining or filtration, preserves the wine's natural vitality. In the glass, unsurprisingly, the nose is of juicy, almost crisp red fruits. On the palate, it's all about fluidity: low tannins, fresh acidity and a light body. This is a wine best served slightly chilled to make the most of its fruit.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
