Novas Gran Reserva Riesling, is a mouthwatering Chilean Riesling from Emiliana , capturing the cool, coastal influence of the Bio-Bío Valley with elegance, freshness, and precision.

Meet the Producer

Emiliana is a pioneering Chilean winery known for its organic and biodynamic practices. Since 1998, Emiliana has combined sustainable viticulture with modern winemaking to produce wines of remarkable purity and character.

Production

Grapes are sourced from the Fundo Quitralman vineyard in Mulchén, planted in 1993. Handpicked and gently pressed, fermentation is carried out with selected yeasts: 35% in previously used French barrels, 10% in new foudres, and 55% in stainless steel at 12–14ºC to preserve aromatic freshness. Post-fermentation, the wine remains in contact with fine lees with periodic stirring (batonnage) for 6 months. Prior to bottling, it is fined and cold-stabilized to maintain clarity.

Tasting Notes

Subtle and complex aromas of fresh lime, flinty minerality, and honeysuckle. The palate is mid-weight and off-dry, with persistent citrus flavours, a hint of natural salinity, and a clean, flinty finish. Food match Ideal with oysters, shellfish, white meats, smoked salmon, vegetarian dishes, and Asian cuisine. Grape Riesling 100%

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
