Official geographic-register context
What the official register confirms about Toro
BottlePicker found an exact region-name match in an official wine or spirits register. This establishes useful regional context; it does not by itself prove that this particular bottle is entitled to the designation. Check the producer label and specification for that claim.

Enjoy it now, or cellar for up to 10 years. Decant for up to an hour before serving. Termes is Bodega Numanthia’s lively homage to Toro del Tinto - a red grape from Castillo y Leon, closely related to Tempranillo. It is a glossy cherry red in the glass, with deeper hints of ruby. Termes opens with a rich bouquet of plum, blackberry and cassis, supported by undercurrents of spice and “garrigue” scrubland. Bodega Numanthia was founded in 1998, in Valdefinjas, the heart of Castile and León in Northern Spain. It is the home of the oldest Toro del Tinto vines in the country, some of which, incredibly, are approaching 200 years of age. Head wine-maker Lucas Löwi intended Termes to be an easy-drinking, approachable taste of the ancient vine, with a memorable character. It is bright and lively from the beginning, coating the mouth in flavours of black forest fruits, thyme and toffee, with hints of cinnamon spice and chocolate in the background. Termes has an excellent structure, defined by silky tannins and fresh acidity. It’s an excellent wine for sharing with friends, or for simply introducing yourself to the esteemed Toro del Tinto grape. Enjoy it alongside thinly spiced meats, aged cheese, or a smokey stew.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
