Nyetimber, Classic Cuvée is a refined multi-vintage English sparkling wine from the South Downs in West Sussex. Made exclusively from estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, it is crafted as a traditional method sparkling wine with extended lees ageing, producing elegant aromas of honey, almond, and pastry, and a complex, balanced palate.
Meet the Producer
Nyetimber, established as a vineyard in 1988, is a pioneering English sparkling wine estate with over 425 hectares under vine across Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent. Owned by Eric Heerema, with Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs, the estate combines rigorous vineyard management, hand-harvesting, and gentle pressing to produce wines that reflect their site and the finest Champagne varieties.
Production
Grapes are hand-picked parcel by parcel, using gentle pressing to preserve aromatics. Base wines undergo careful vinification, followed by blending, bottling, and secondary fermentation in bottle. The wines age on their lees for multiple years to develop texture, complexity, and rich autolytic character.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
