Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for half an hour. The wines of the premium Oboe line are produced by the Companhia dos Vinhos do Douro, a wine company based in the Quinta do Cabeço between Pinhão and Régua. Oboe Vinha da Parcela Tinto is an elegant and distinctive red wine made from a blend of indigenous grapes such as Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, along with other varietals distributed throughout the vineyard. The grapes come from old vines located on schist soil in the heart of the Douro Baixo-Corgo region. After harvesting, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel with extended maceration. The finished wine then ages for one year in oak barrels. The result is a deep wine that fully expresses the authentic nature of the region. In the glass, it reveals an intense ruby color with darker nuances. On the nose, it displays a broad and mature bouquet with notes of blackberry, cassis, and wild berries intertwined with delicate woody notes and spicy touches. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced, concentrated and elegant, with firm yet ripe and well-integrated tannins and a refreshing acidity that balances the taste. The finish is long and fruity. It can age for a few years in the cellar or be enjoyed now with roast red meats or game stews.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
