The Parajes 2024 is a blend from different terroirs, soils, exposures and altitudes (between 450 and 780 metres above sea level). It is a true reflection of the Bierzo, with grapes sourced from 45 different plots spread across nine villages. The vines are between 80 and 142 years old and are planted with a blend of local grape varieties: Mencía, Alicante Bouschet and other white and red varieties such as Bastardo, Sousón and Estaladiña. There are always a few whole bunches, depending on the vintage and the plot, and part of the wine ferments in stainless steel vats and another part in wooden vats, as it is fermented by plot. The wine has aged for a year in 225-, 400- and 500-litre oak barrels. It is this entire process that brings complexity and depth to this wine.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
