Intense in color and character; "anthocyanes" means pigment, after all. Raspberry, cinnamon spice and clove flavors are present in this rather full-bodied Rosé Champagne. A vivid, succulent and vinous rosé with aromas of peaches, blood oranges and flowers. It's medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Mellow and comforting, with bright fruit character and a tense finish. 52% chardonnay and 48% pinot noir. Dosage 3.5 g/L. Based on the 2018 vintage, complemented by reserve wines dating back to 2010, and disgorged in August 2023 with a dosage of four grams per liter, Doquet's NV Rosé Premier Cru Anthocyanes is an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that previously underwent 1.5 days of maceration, imparting its distinctive color. The wine reveals aromas evocative of red berries, plums, spices and licorice, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, rich and vinous palate framed by an enlivening, pillowy mousse.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
