Nathalie Vignier crafts exceptional Blanc-de-Blancs Champagne from some of the most prestigious Chardonnay terroirs in Champagne. As co-owner and winemaker at Champagne Paul Lebrun, she continues a family tradition dating back to the 16th century. Her vineyards span 16.5 hectares across the Côte des Blancs and Côte de Sézanne, including 3 Grand Cru and 2 Premier Cru villages. The iconic Cramant Grand Cru provides chalky clay soils that impart richness and power, while the more southerly Côte de Sézanne delivers ripe, fragrant fruit with a mineral-driven elegance. Nathalie’s focus on terroir, sustainability, and family legacy ensures each bottle is an authentic expression of Champagne at its finest.
Winemaking
Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing on lees for 3 years. The Champagne is disgorged with a traditional Brut dosage of 8 g/L, ensuring freshness and vibrancy while allowing the unique terroirs of Cramant and Sézanne to shine. Tasting Note The nose opens with abundant almond aromas, complemented by fresh apple, peach, and citrus notes. On the palate, it is fresh, zesty, and vibrant, with a dense, creamy mouthfeel and a citrus bite. The mid-palate develops ripe citrus flavours, while the finish reveals a hint of salinity, carrying the almond notes from the nose through to the close. Viticulture 20% of the Chardonnay comes from the Côte des Blancs (Chouilly) and 80% from the Coteaux du Sézannais (Barbonne-Fayel). The Sézanne terroir, with clay, limestone, and marl soils, adds richness and complexity, while the chalky soils of both regions contribute crisp acidity, minerality, and elegance to the wine. Food Matching A gastronomic Champagne, ideal with seared salmon or cooked oysters.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
