Source-supplied bottle description

Château du Glana stretches along the Route des Fines Wines, between Beychevelle and Saint-Julien, directly opposite the prestigious Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. Set amongst 43.5 hectares planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, on high-quality Garonne gravel soils, the estate is managed by Jean-Paul Meffre, supported by enologist Christophe Ollivier. The 2021 vintage marks a return to a classic, technically refined style, showcasing the freshness and structure that have built the reputation of Bordeaux wines, resulting from a later and less abundant harvest than the previous year. Le Pavillon du Glana hereby confirms its reputation as a safe bet amongst the appellation’s second wines.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
