Marsala Superiore Garibaldi is a traditional Marsala DOC dessert wine from western Sicily, celebrated for its rich, sweet, and honeyed character. Crafted in the historic Marsala region, this wine showcases the excellence of local indigenous grape varieties and centuries-old winemaking traditions. Viticulture Grapes are sourced from the Trapani province, specifically the Marsala and Mazara del Vallo areas. The vineyards sit just a few meters above sea level on clay-limestone and sandy soils. The Mediterranean climate—with mild winters, low rainfall, and hot, windy summers—ensures optimal ripening and the development of concentrated flavours.
Winemaking
Produced using traditional winemaking methods, the wine is aged in oak casks for at least 2 years, allowing the rich flavours to develop depth, complexity, and a smooth, velvety texture. Tasting Note Marsala Superiore Garibaldi displays an intense amber colour with a pronounced, persistent aroma of dried figs and hints of plum. On the palate, it is round and luscious, with sweet, honeyed notes that make it an ideal dessert companion. Food Matching Perfect as a dessert wine, best served slightly chilled at 12–14°C. Complements pastries, tarts, dried fruits, and soft cheeses. Pellegrino Wine
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
