Pequeñas Fermentaciones Naranjo An exciting, contemporary orange wine made from 80-year-old vines, combining the aromatic finesse of Torrontes with the floral lift of Moscatel.
Meet the Producer
El Porvenir de Cafayate is a small, family-owned winery in Salta, Argentina, known for producing high-altitude wines that are both premium in quality and surprisingly affordable. Their Pequeñas Fermentaciones range explores experimental and small-batch winemaking techniques.
Production
Torrontes (60%) and Pink Moscatel (40%) vines, planted in 1945, are hand-harvested and fermented in contact with seeds and skins in concrete eggs for six months. This extended skin contact imparts texture, complexity, and the distinctive hue of an orange wine.
Tasting Notes
Subtle aromatics of lychee and exotic floral notes lead to a vibrant palate with clementine, citrus oil, and a natural richness. The wine is lively and textured, with bright acidity and a sandy, mouth-coating finish characteristic of the orange wine method. Food match Perfect with roasted cauliflower, grilled halloumi, or other vegetable-forward dishes. Grape Torrontes 60%, Moscatel 40%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
