Official US label evidence
Historical Texas label approval
One official label approval has the same normalised product name as this BottlePicker record. These approvals pre-date September 2021 and help check identity, stated ABV and the responsible trade name; they do not prove that the current bottle has the same formula, remains registered or is available in Texas.

The 2024 vintage features a special label to mark the wine's 30th anniversary. Galatrona is the "Grand-Cru" of Merlot of Petrolo, only made with the grapes from the vineyard of the same name planted between the end of the 80's and half of the 90's with low vigor bordeaux clones. The peculiar soil, rich in clay in combination with schist, marl and sandstones, allows the concentration of all the noble components of the grapes, fundamental for the great structure, elegance, balance and persistence wanted for this wine.Blend: 100% Merlot The 2024 Galatrona (100% Merlot) is seriously beautiful, vivid wine. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, mint and espresso are all laced together in the glass. Just bottled, the 2024 is very expressive. I can't remember a Galatrona with this much class. Harvest took place from September 2 to 9. The 2024 spent 18 months in French oak, 30% new. This is so refined. A racy, refined red, showing blackberry, black-truffle and violet aromas and flavors. Hints of fresh herbs like bay leaves and basil. Medium-bodied with crunchy fruit and firm tannins that turn creamy in the polished, textured finish. Lead pencil and sandalwood. Very impressive for the vintage. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable but try in two or three years.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
