Au Bon Climat, a great Californian estate that lives up to its name! Located in Sisquoc in Santa Barbara County, the vines benefit from a particularly cool, sunny climate, where the fruit produced is intense. Produced from a selected, limited harvest, this cuvée is one of the great American Pinot Noir wines. This wine has a rich aromatic bouquet with notes of plum, strawberry and black berries. There are hints of spice, due to the 10 months' ageing in French oak barrels. With its deep ruby colour, this Pinot Noir is complex and silky on the palate, with well-balanced tannins. It goes perfectly with a cheese platter or white meats!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
