Source-supplied bottle description
Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.
At the heart of the great Chardonnay vineyards of the Côte de Beaune, "Sous le puits" dominates the hillside of the village of Puligny-Montrachet. Here the vines are rooted on very stony clay and limestone soil and help the grapes mature well. The juice is aged for a long time in oak barrels before we are offered it for tasting. Upon opening it exudes atmosphere and flowers. We feel the expression of the Puligny soil with notes of acacia, anise and hazelnut that are expressed in the glass... The taste is sharp with a fantastic mineral structure. This is one of the most exemplary wines of Puligny!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
