The description below is the retailer’s own wording.
Produced 14 km from the sea, on the Tuscan coast in the heart of the Maremma, Tenuta Moraia’s Primasso white is made exclusively from the indigenous Vermentino grape variety. Influenced by the maritime freshness, as well as its Mediterranean climate, the clay and marl soils, and ageing on lees (3 months), this Maremma Toscana DOC offers a character that is both rounded and mineral. On the nose, it reveals a floral and herbaceous bouquet, with citrus notes and hints of exotic fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, round and smooth, proving harmonious with a mineral character and a salty finish that evokes its coastal terroir. A cuvée to be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a meal, pairing well with seafood dishes such as fried squid, fish carpaccio and seafood risotto.
