Source-supplied bottle description

Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.

Nestled at an altitude of 1,036 metres in the Western Cape, the Cederberg estate produces a vibrant and deep Shiraz from a cool climate. The vines, planted on red schist soils, benefit from pure air and crystal-clear water, far from any pollution. Thanks to significant temperature variations and meticulous ageing for 15 months in French oak barrels, this 2021 vintage reveals an intense expression of the grape variety: an explosion of ripe red fruits enhanced by spices such as black pepper and notes of black olive, leading to a finish that is smooth, structured and persistent. A magnificent embodiment of a high-altitude Shiraz, rich and distinguished!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
