Quartet Brut NV is the Californian expression of Champagne Louis Roederer’s centuries of winemaking excellence. Crafted with precision and elegance, it combines the finesse of traditional Champagne methods with the vibrant fruit and purity of Anderson Valley’s cool-climate terroir.

Meet the Producer

Quartet is Champagne Louis Roederer’s outpost in California’s Anderson Valley, Mendocino County. Established to express Roederer’s signature style in the New World, it benefits from a cool, fog-laden climate and well-drained soils that produce grapes with remarkable freshness and balance. The estate spans 235 hectares and is divided into four distinct vineyards — the inspiration for the name Quartet .

Production

The winemaking philosophy mirrors that of the Roederer family in Champagne: use only the finest estate-grown fruit and incorporate oak-aged reserve wines to enhance depth and complexity. Only the cuvée (the first pressing) is used for production, ensuring purity and precision. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at 18°C, with zero to minimal malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness and longevity. The wine is aged for a minimum of two years on lees, developing fine mousse and complexity. The final blend — 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir — reflects a balance between richness and elegance, combining California’s expressive fruit character with Champagne-like refinement.

Tasting Notes

Crisp and elegant, with layers of pear, apple and citrus supported by subtle spice and toasted hazelnut. Fresh and lightly fruity, the palate reveals notes of brioche and almond, underpinned by fine bubbles and a lingering, harmonious finish.

Food Pairing

An exceptionally versatile sparkling wine — ideal for celebrations, candlelit dinners or casual brunches. It pairs beautifully with sushi, shellfish, egg dishes, white meats in creamy sauces, and lightly spiced Asian cuisine. Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
