The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

Quincy, situated to the west of the Centre-Loire region, has its vineyards planted on terraces composed mainly of sand and gravel. A hot and, above all, dry summer resulted in excellent ripeness of the grapes, a ripeness that is expressed in this wine through a beautiful and elegant richness. Rigorous selection of the grapes through tasting of the berries prior to the grape harvest. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 16–18°C. The wine was aged on lees for six months with regular stirring to preserve all the aromatic freshness and lend the wine a rounded character.
