Château Purcari 1827 Rara Neagra – Saperavi is made from the Rara Neagra grape variety, a rare indigenous variety from Moldova and Romania that has been cultivated for 2,000 years, as well as Saperavi. This full-bodied, well-structured red wine is characterised by complex aromas of black fruits, followed by hints of tobacco, spice and leather. Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, it offers a velvety texture and supple tannins that develop on the palate, giving way to a long, lingering finish. Perfectly suited to red meat dishes, this cuvée will appeal to anyone looking for a powerful and aromatic wine!
