Source-supplied bottle description

The Geyserville was first produced in 1966, they have made this zinfandel every year for 56 years! Consistency of quality and vineyard character are its hallmarks. A dry winter with a moderate spring and summer ripened the grapes evenly. Showing plentiful fruit, elegant tannins and bright acidity, this fine wine will develop over the next 14 years. Ruby-garnet in colour with aromas of dark plum, black cherry, baking spices, cola, wet gravel, toasted oak, violets and lavender. A full bodied entry with fine grained tannins. Natural acidity balances the wine creating a long juicy finish. 76% zinfandel, 16% carignane, 6% petite sirah, 2% Alicante bouchet.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
