Made from a mosaic of plots and lieux-dits throughout the Juliénas appellation, mainly composed of diorite (a blue rock typical of the appellation), this Juliénas is a veritable hymn to its terroir: it reveals an absolutely bewitching mineral character! Finally, ageing in concrete/ash vats for 6 to 8 months helps to refine the wine's texture and aromatic complexity, while preserving its fresh, fruity character. Bursting with aromas of violets and morello cherries, this fresh, delicate cuvée is an essential accompaniment to any dinner party! Juliénas wines are often considered to be halfway between those of the Côte de Nuits and those of the Rhône Valley... There's something in store for your curious palate!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
